Switzerland: Fish, Hunt, Camp?:

We are moving to Switzerland in about 6 weeks. Can anybody tell me anything about hunting, fishing or camping in Switzerland. Do camping stoves use the same propane canisters as in the US? Thanks! Doug

Switzerland: cost of living in Baden:

We are considering an Expat assignment in Switzerland and have the luxury of a visit to scope it out. Some of the advice we have gotten includes: have an assessment done by an expert in international income tax once the offer is in writing, bring a shoppipng list from a large US shopping trip & go to a market to compare prices of consumable goods, evaluat options on durable goods such as housing, autos etc. That is all I can say now, but should know much more in a few weeks.

Hi, We are considering a 3-5 year Expat opportunity in Switzerland. We have boys 6 & 8. I am trying to envision what will happen to some of our current activities. I realize we will travel a lot. But right now we like to fish, hunt & the boys play soccer, wrestle and baseball/lacrosse. Does anyone have any insight regarding these activities. We plan to live in an expat community. Thanks!
