Kuwait: knes-what is it really like?:

We visited the New English School when we were choosing schools. We were given a very warm welcome by the head of department (early years) and it all seemed clean and tidy and well equipped. We did not choose this school for our children due mainly to it's size - it is a very large school and we felt a smaller school suited them better. But out of all the schools we visited it would have been our second choice.

Kuwait: Mandatory retirement age, new universities, cats, cars, maids, electronics, approved DVD titles, HIV testing, etc.:

We're moving to Kuwait and have been told we cannot bring any DVD's by RCA/Columbia - something to do with Israel - do you know anything about this?

We are also moving out in March. We visited all the schools (we chose TES for our children but your daughter is too old) I would suggest visiting either New English School (very warm welcome) or KES - I certainly wouldn't bother with BSK.

Kuwait: Dancing lessons:

Does anyone have any details of dance classes for children - tap or ballet etc. ? Would be grateful for contact details. We are moving out in March and my children are keen to continue their dance classes.
