Bulgaria: Weather:

Can someone actually living in Bulgaria tell me why in the Netherlands on the news it says it is around -20 degree's terrible cold and loads of problems with snow in Bulgaria especially north east.Whereas on the weathermap it tends to be around -13 or so and no mentioning of loads of snow. How is your weather really?
