Malaysia: a place to live in KL over the summer:

hi, i got a summer job at KL and I'm trying to look for a place to stay for about 2-3 months. i'll be working around what they say is the bangsar lrt station. I was wondering whether it is easy to find people who are willing to rent just for the summer, or if there are any cheap hostels around the area I could bunk up in. Also, where should I being my search? google is not really helping me out here
