Kuwait: schools:

I may be biased, but I am on the first year of my two year contract as a counselor at Universal American School. I am currently testing new students who want to enroll in our KG dept. and I can tell you that the reason many of them list on their application for wanting to enroll at UAS is for its excellent reputation. It is a great school community from what I have observed and experienced....I have no info to offer on the other schools you mentioned, maybe others will have knowledge of those schools. Kuwait: Schooling Help:

You could try the Universal American School in Hawally. Hubby and i have been working here since August, and from first-hand experience, the staff and students seem to be happy and respectful, for the most part. It's a great school! Good luck!

Kuwait: apartments near UAS:

Can someone please tell me what is the area around Universal American School called? We will have an apt. near the school and are trying to find out what to expect....will there be a gulf view from there? Do most apts. in that area provide internet and have fitness/pool, etc.? Possible links to apartments in walking distance to UAS? Thanks so much!

Hi, We are new to forum and preparing to move to Kuwait for school jobs in August (from USA). We need info/suggestions on the best way to handle our mail and also cell phone and service that will work in Kuwait and stateside. We don't want or need a fancy phone that has camera/music or anything, just one that is a telephone! Thanks for any ideas on these two communication topics.
