Nepal: Me and Nepal still going strong!!!!!:
Hello everyone!!!!!
It's been a while I've been on here. I am still working in Iraq and visiting Nepal every chance I get. No, I have not been able to find a job and I would desperately love to get onboard with the U.S. EMBASSY, being that I'm an American. My Nepali friends are great, but unfortunately the majority of them have had to leave the comforts of their homes and country to go back to work in Iraq, Afghanistan, Malaysia or Dubai. But, at least they are able to find work. We all need to. I am going back in about 4 months. My holiday coming up I have to go back to the U.S. to take care of some business, but trust me, I wish I were going to Nepal...hahahahahhaa Just wanted to touch basis with you all and say "hello" I was trying to get in contact with one individual who personally emailed me regarding making a retirement move to Nepal and she is also American. Please respond back. I am still in contact with my Nepali friends. I am madly inlove with mine and we call each other every other day, and that is only when the signal is good and we can connect. But it hasn't been bad. I was there this January and came back in February 2010. I won't be going back until another 3-4 months or so. I have land there and the value has grown 10 times more since it was purchased. but I would like to build a home there. If I get lucky and find a job at the Embassy we will live in KTM
Nepal: American Expat in Kathmandu:
Hello Tracy,
I would also like to know how you found a job with NPO. I have the website to the U.S. EMBASSY in Nepal as one of my "favorities" so that I can log on right away. I have been trying to find work in Nepal for a year now. I would like to get on with the Embassy, but anything that can help me get my foot in the door is great. I have been to Nepal several times on holidays and love each time I go. I am an American working in Iraq and have many friends that live there, but you know that I met ALL OF THEM while working in Iraq as well. The majority of them are there and are planning on coming back to Iraq, Afghanistan, Malyasia or Dubai to work. I love the people and the country itself. If you have a link I can go to and check it out I would be most grateful.
YOU ARE SO LUCKY....SMILE.....
