Bolivia: Incoming Expat needs advice:

Hi! We plan to arrive in La Paz in early September for a two-year stint with the local Government. If anyone has the time to contribute to my knowledge of the following, I would be very grateful: 1) How bad has the recent spike in inflation impacted your spending and lifestyle? 2) I have a 16 year-old son, we are NGO people so not international school types, does anyone have any recommendations about educational options? 3) Are any Mandarin speaking people about?
