Kenya: Place to Live in Westlands:

Jacqueline - When we lived in Nairobi, we lived in Westlands on Rhapta Road, about a block from Wayaki way and just around the corner from the Sarit Center. They were furnished apts in your price range - it would be a great place to check out. Here are instructions on how to get there. Unfortunately, I don't know the phone number, but perhaps you can find it or have someone there check for you. Go to the Westlands round about and take “Ring Road” which turns into Rhapta Road. Go about 3 km – you’ll pass the turn off for church road on your right At then end of the Rhapta Road, you’ll see St. Mary’s on the Right – the complex is a gate building on the left, the gate across from st. mary’s school. If any happen to be available - the third floor apartments are quite nice. There is also a gym in the apt. complex next door which is convenient. Melissa

Kenya: Pets in Kenya?:

I will be working in TZ, UG, and KY and am wondering how easy it is to bring a pet (medium sized dog) into the country and how easy it is to cross borders (by land) with your pet. Any ideas?
