Austria: moving to austria:
Hi. myself and my wife are both in our 30's and looking to move to austria, preferably to open a b+b or guesthouse in or near ski resort . but if that doesnt happen were looking to move over and find alternative employment,im a carpenter and have been looking for joiner jobs advertised in austria, but they just dont seem to advertise them, is it a case of having to know people out there like local builders,to be able to get any work.. thanks anyone
Austria: New to forum - new life wanted in Austria:
hi. you guys sound the samr as us.we got married in hinterthal near saalfelden in 2006 and fell in love with austria, and like you are planning to move out there and open up a guest house in ski resort.it just all depends on money.you need a 40% deposit to buy a place ,30% min but the bank will then want to see how you can afford it,then add on 10% in buying costs, plus enough money to make any alterations to the place and to see you through first year while you build up business and make mortgage payments, and generally live day to day.if you can do all that then there is nothing that can stop you you are a eu citizen. just go for it,our house is up for sale now, as soon as it sells were off...
