I will be moving to Dubai any day now and am looking for advice on cell phones there. What are some good companies? Who has best coverage and deals?

Hi- I am a young American woman interviewing currently for a job in Dubai. I have some questions about life there for a single young expat woman. Is it frowned upon to wear tank tops and shorts and the like? What is considered acceptable in terms of clothing (I never show much clevage or midrifs and the like just want to know if tanks and shorts are ok)? How do you go about getting various alcohol licenses and what is the drinking age? I guess I am just nervous and want information on the "real" Dubai, not just what the tourism sites say.
