hi there. I'm new in Astana, and am looking for some quality coconut oil. Is there a healthfood shop anywhere in Astana? Im going o look at Mega and the mall near it, as I'm within walking distance. I haven't been many other places yet. Didn't think to look in Artoom(sp?). Thanks for any advice. M

I"m wondering if anyone has imported a vehicle from Europe or other parts of Asia. What kind of hassle is driving in yourself?

Kazakhstan: Motorcycles:

I'm going to be moving to Aktau in January. I'm wondering about buying a motorcycle - no need to lecture about KAz drivers and safety, I've been an expat in lots of countries with bad drivers. The main questions are: 1. What local make of bikes are there and are they worth buying? 1.5. relative cost used and new? 2. How difficult is getting insurance and registration as an expat? 3. Any riding clubs? Cheers
