Hi, You need you Paperworks in order first to be both allowed to work. Without this you won't find an employer willing to risk is license and jail time hiring "tourists" for work. When I came to the US back in 1990 I came with way over 1/2 million USD and it took me a long time to find my way and understand culture and mentality until landing a business as passing a bunch of licenses to get to operate as a mortgage broker. If you wish to start a new life abroad, get ready to bring some "real money" to support both of you until you got your all your ducks in the row and find a decent job.

Canada: Moving to Canada - Need Advice!:

Where in Canada???? Its a big place, I live for 6 years upstate NY 10 miles from the Ca border, worked for a Canadian company, I know the mentality being born in Europe, I am perfect bilingual French/English. And now back in South Florida where I spend 20 years. Canadian have a mentality tough to deal with, jealousy, and super high taxes, very expensive cost of living. Super cold the winter-30F, cope with ice and snow... good luck. Hate foreigners, Tax rates are much higher in Ca than the US. You can get your residency with a reasonable investment around $300k if I recall. But as for me I woudnt exchange Fl for Canada... Good luck

Good luck, nothing is smooth with the Brazillian administration, more especially if it's a Gringo ! Good luck my man, one piece of advice thought. Never, ever take anything a Brazillian tells you for face value, never under no circumstances. Be always (over) skeptical ! Sad but true...

Brazil: Manaus Tourist Employment:

The most important think is to properly communicate and be able to write the language. Then knowing culture and mentality will keep you out of trouble. Theses are really mandatory if you look for work on a tough market. Good luck Boa sorte amigo !

Try to locate a church with Jehovah Witnesses, talk to them they will try to help you out. If you need to have the fund send to a witness, you can trust them. Of course there always bad apple, but it worth to try it. Boa sorte !

I got married twice with Brazillian ladies, first off, learn Portuguese, know the culture and the mentality, most of Brazilian girls are looking to get documents to be in the US or EEC, that's over 70%, make sure you don't fall under the statistics. They are smart and most have nothing to loose. However you always have good people's everywhere, you really need to do your homework before its to late. Good luck to you

If I read you well, what you are saying is even marrying to a Brazil citizen it may not guarantee the residency... How come this would be possible?
