Scotland: Possible Move to Scotland:

For several years my family has considered moving to Ireland, Scotland or England. Ireland was my first choice but I have heard from people who moved there that the infrastructure, cost of living and health care are prohibative. Can any Americans living in Scotland give me some insight as to what it is like to live there? Thank you so much.
