The biggest issue I faced was the language barrier-Go to migros language schools its worth the effort. Get out and meet people and take day trips visit the alps.

hi only pack your favorite items like deodarant hairsprayect... you can get everything there but more expensive, sometimes brands are not familiar do not take bedding it will not fit unless you are bringing your furniture. you can check craigslist for thing you need to buy there including finding a rentalif you need it? I lived there for a while with my swiss husband ,I did learn to find my way around if I can help feel free to email me, tb

Switzerland: Relocating to Switzerland/cost of living:

It is very expensive to dine out but it is very nice. I am from mo but have lived there with my husband who is swiss. we were from muri about 35 minutes from zurich and if you live out side of zurich its much less expensive. will you have your own car? good luck swiss girl
