Austria: advice pls!:

Hi Lester, It looks like your post is from a few years ago, so I'm wondering if this will get to you. I am an American looking to move to Austria. I speak German fairly fluently--I worked in Germany for a year back in 2001. I have only travelled to Austria though, so I don't have any contacts. We were thinking about moving to a small town in the mountains, and wondering how you secured employment and a work visa. I was on a government exchange program when I worked in Germany, so I don't have experience going about this on my own. Thanks, Janet
