Kuwait: Toddler groups:

hi micbell , there are many good areas to live in kuwait such as : mangaf , fintas . mahbula , salwa and salmya and most of these area have swiming pool and alot of expats are living their . for your son there are approved places where you can put your son without any problem for a few dinars(kuwait currency ) amonth and you dont have to worry about him . public transport i would say taxi is the best and its available every where and my recommendation is to live in salmya if you wish to be near kuwait city and swimming complex in gulf road and also its good for the taxi charges as it will be less amount of money you will pay for the taxi . hope i help in this issue . any further question please feel free to ask or contact me : anwer33@yahoo.com thanks anwer

hello , i am anwerrr(nick name ) from kuwait . i would like to expalin something here about people's idea about life in kuwait . i've seen many bad things written about kuwaities here in this site and i feel sad because we must understand that this country is full of different nationalities and when we see any bad behaviour that does not mean we blame only kuwaities , i am not trying to say that kuwaities are perfect , but we better know who is doing it and after we make sure then we say he is bad not all people . talking about individuals ??? yes there are bad behaviours all over the world at the same time there are good behaviours as well . i myself can see a lot of expats in kuwait and they are more than welcome to work ,make their life , teaching , helping this country and live with peace here , also i see them in malls shopping and enjoying themselves without any troubles at all beside that i used to have many american friends when they were in kuwait and i am proud of them all . we are friendly in kuwait and we love all people who are in the country we love every one who is helping this country toward the development . someone talking about driving in kuwait and i agree with him that we face a real problem in the streets because of theses crazy drivers and remember that i as a kuwaity suffer from this problem (i have kids to worry about) but we cant say that all of these crazy drivers are kuwaities !!!!!!!!!! i remind you that you are dealing with a totaly different culture and religion and i felt that when i was in England and United States and other western countries and i 've seen so many bad things i will not forget for ever BUT i did not say that all English or Americans are bad and i did not say that U.S is not a good place to be in . all in all home is home and there is no way to find another place as good as home even if you live in a golden palace and you have the whole world's wealth . please do not take me wrong because i am trying to explain my point of view .generalizing in all issues is not a good idea . so live the way you want as far as you respect the rules and as you want the others to respect your rules then they expect from you to respect their's . i wish you all good stay in Kuwait . thanks anwerrr

Kuwait: can i hire a driver?:

hi there , the answer is yes you can hire a car and driver starting from 10 kd which is = $30 a day and above depending on the type of the car . the other option you have is to take a taxi for one month to start with and then renew the contract according to your need which is cheaper .wish you good luck . anwer

hi there , first depending on where your husband works but i am sure that in areas like fintas ,fhaheel , salwa or mahbuls which i know for sure that a lot of expat families are living (americans , english and other western nationalities ) i think you will be fine since your husband is in kuwait as you said and getting furnished apartment is very easy , so nothing to worry about . weather in kuwait in june will be very hot as in most of the day time the temperature will hit almost 50 c and i dont know how much is that in F degree lol . i wish you good luck and if you have any other question please feel free to ask or e-mail me : anwer33@yahoo.com thanks anwer

hi , most nannies in kuwait earn about 50 - 60 kd a month whic is equivilant to almost $150 - 200 a month beside plcae to live and your meals and health care .
