Jordan: Questions asbout Ramadan:

Any opinions would be appreciated! I have lived in a mainly muslim area of Sydney, so I am aware of what goes on during Ramadan and how important it is to be respectful, muslim or non- muslim. However, next week, I am moving to Amman to be with my fiance and his family. I will try to observe this holy practice, however, I am currently on medication and need to take it with food. My fiance's family is not overly religous, but they do fast for Ramadan. Would it be offensive to eat just a little or perhaps drink some water during the day in their house?

Australia: Jersey to Brisbane:

Depends what type of work you do! Generally pay outside of Sydney or Melbourne is a little less, but the cost of living is much cheaper. Australia's real estate is super expensive in main cities, but overall Queensland is ok. The Gold Coast is lovley, warm most of the year and generally mild in winter. Surfer's Paradise, Broadbeach and Main beach are among the most expensive places to live, but if you go a little further north, to places like Paradise Point, Biggara Waters or Labrador, it's much cheaper. I'm from Sydney and although myself and my 5siblings grew up in Sydney, most live in Queensland- so what does the tell you!

Jordan: Some tips to touring Jordan during Ramadan:

Thanks for the tips, really useful. I have lived in a mainly muslim area of Sydney, so I am aware of what goes on during Ramadan and how important it is to be respectful, muslim or non- muslim. Jordan: Learning Arabic:

Does anybody know any colleges/ consulates that offer good Arabic classes in Amman? Thanks!

Jordan: Australian moving to Jordan- tips?:

Hi, I am an Australian moving to Amman with my Jordanian/Australian fiance in July. There are several websites I have been looking on for work including bayt.com and akhtaboot jobs. Can anyone suggest anywhere else to look for work including companies that are likely to employ expats? Also what type of work can I expect coming from a hospitality/ administration background?
