British Virgin Islands: wishing to relocate family...where should I start?:

My husband and I are seriously considering moving to one of the british islands. He has been applying for jobs in his field online, and we have been sifting through a plethora of info concerning immigration policies, education, health care, cost of living etc. It is a bit overwhelming to organize a proper plan of action. Is there anyone that has has gone through a move from Canada to any of the british isles that can give any advice? Are there any sites or resources that would be helpful? Any help or advice would be GREATLY appreciated.
