Global Expat Forum: Plastic surgery in Cali:

Hi friends, I am an Australian married to a Colombian man. For years and for health reasons I have required surgery that I have not wanted to pay a fortune for in Australia. My Hsband raves about the breast surgery in Colombia and about how amazing it is. I am not one to go blindly into something like this. Can anyone comment on their experiences please? Cheers, Sallie

Australia: AU vs NZ:

What a lovely way to spend your retirement. Im am Australian but have visited NZ on many occasions. NZ has absolutely breathtaking scenery with enormous mountains. There sre so many lively things to see and do. It is smaller than Australia with less distances to drive, so this was a great benefit when traveling and exploring. I found the people to be divine! One thing I like the most about nz is the cultural preservation that the North island has especially. The Maori culture is alive and well and I really enjoyed my experiences there. I love Australia. I am very proud of our country and of all it has to offer. It is equally as beautiful as NZ in different ways. It is bigger and has desert which takes s long time to cross. We too have breathtaking beaches and a surf culture to boot. I think whichever country u choose to spend time in...the other is also well worth a visit. Good luck with your decision and I hope u enjoy your experience

Colombia: I Wish I had Known... Before Moving to Colombia:

I agree. Like living in any country with a different language, knowing how to converse will undoubtably make your time therer more rewarding. However, in Colombia it will not only make it more fun, but safer. I have been to Colombia 3 times for extended periods and am thinking of moving there to live this year some time. It is an amazing, fun, exciting, sexy and friendly place to spend time. Learn Spanish...It is not that difficult :)
