The communist government resignated in after a week of demonstrations known as the Velvet Revolution. The popular Vaclav Havel was elected president of the republic. At the end of 1992 Czechoslovakia split into Czech Republic (Bohemia and Moravia) and Slovak Republic (Slovakia). This peaceful splitting is called the Velvet Divorce.

Vietnam: Working Visa for Vietnam:

Anybody ever got one of these before? The VN Embassy in London say that my sponsor in VN has to get an approval number from the local immigtration office & then I can apply. Anything else I should know about? Cost for example? I also heard something about a medical. Can anyone elaborate? Anything else I should consider? Thanks in advance.
