Korea: Is Seoul safe?:

I may be taking a short term 6-12 month assignment in Seoul next year and wondered how safe Seoul is? I live in NYC - so, I'm used to big cities...but I have a large network of friends and 2 roomates here. Since I don't know anyone there I am a bit concerned about my safety as I will be traveling a lot for work on my own and living alone. Is it safe for a 25 year old to live there alone? ~ Claudette

India: VCRs:

I am moving to India next year and wanted to know about VCRs - what kind do they use there? I have a 3 year old and if we need to get a different kind of VCR I want to try to get some tapes made of his favorites videos before we go. Kevin B.

China: Shanghai:

Hello, My husband has been offered a job with his firm in Shanghai. We have two children, 2and 4, and I was wondering if anyone out there could tell me what to expect if we decide to move there. In particular, I hoped to learn about nursery and elementary schools(our 4 year old is almost 5 and would start school while we are there). Also, are there groups for women? I would definitely need to find some social groups! Thanks for your help! Sarah
