Netherlands: Expat Negotiations - Need Advice!:

Hi Everyone! My husband and I are moving from the USA to The Netherlands during Q1 of 2010. We are very excited about this opportunity and realize we have a lot of details to nail down before we make the move so we've decided to join The Netherlands forum to meet fellow expats. Our first round of questions pertains to expat agreement negiotiations. The reason we are moving to The Netherlands is because my company has offered me a position at our office near Amsterdam. A contract has not yet been drafted for my new position but I was hoping someone could give me advice about the expat contract process - what should I expect, what should I negotiate, things to look out for, pros and cons of expat agreements, etc. I work for a small company so what expectations should I have? We have tons more questions, but think this is a good place to start! Look forward to discussing and thanks in advance.
