Georgia: Staying Beyond 360 Days:

Had you crossed the Turkish border by the end of August, that would have worked. That's what my husband, I and our daughter did - we live in Batumi, too and are all three Americans. Since the change of laws in September, once you cross the Georgian border to anywhere, upon return, you have three months only, thereafter. We filed for temporary residential visas. My husband has his and we're waiting for mine and then will file for one for our daughter. Best of luck! Everything is different with this new government, in place.

Georgia: entry-level work for expats in Georgia?:

You possibly would be able to find work either teaching English or at larger hotels and other business with large tourist public relations work. But why do you refer to Russian States of which Georgia is not one?!

Georgia: Thinking to establish in Georgia:

Most likely your best bet is to contact Tbilisi visitor information and look for investors' information on government sites - try the embassy for resource links. It's difficult to get started here if you've no connections and do not know where to begin; actually, it is difficult, even if you have. Utilize all public resources that you can find, ahead of time.
