Brazil: Retirement:

The most simple instructions, and pertinent advice thus far. Hopefully BTW knows how to "read".

Brazil: Where do you live?:

Amen to that, indeed!

Brazil: Also moving to floripa with my wife from ipatinga:

A spot-on post, re: the realities about Brazil. The tragedy being that Brazil has the potential of being one of the top 20 goto" business, and tourist destinations on the planet. Unfortunately the power (so-called "educated) elite of Brazil are far too stupid to realize that potential. That human failing seems to be a symptomatic (high crime and immoral behavior) pattern consistent with Roman Catholicism dominated societies. Sigh.

Brazil: Brasilian moving back to Brasil with American husband:

Indeed! More sufficient words to the wise. Obrigado!

Brazil: Nigerian giving birth in brazil:

Brazil already has more than it's fair share of poor behaving, genetic Nigerians, from 300 years ago. Their capitol city is Salador. Good luck with that endeavor.

Brazil: Mercosur benefits with Permanent residency in Brazil.:

Have you thought of asking Brazil Immigration authorities about that?

Brazil: symbolica:

Contact the nearest Brazilian Embassy, for the most accurate information regarding visas. Good luck.

Brazil: Black male interested in moving to brazil:

You will deal with the NegroPhobia phenomenon, everywhere on this planet. Brazil is no worse than any other country, in that regard. In fact, Brazil is much better than most, probably due to the huge black population of Brazil. Salvador has the largest population of blacks, and also has the highest overall, per capita street-crime rate. It is not easy to meet local people in Brazil. Brazilians are polite, but generally very paranoid, and unfriendly. Brazil is also the most expensive country in SA to live. If you do not already have Brazilian friends, prior to traveling to Brazil. then itd best that visit first, as a tourist, stay @ the youth hostels, if you want to meet other travelers, for experience sharing, and to become acquainted with the local Brazil hostel staff, as a first point of contact. Hope this helps, and good luck.

Brazil: looking for housing:

Why, in heaven's name would you want to live ANYWHERE in (crime infested) Salvador metro, spending that amount of money for monthly rent? Whatever, its your money to spend, your way, I suppose. Just curious. Good luck with your search.

Brazil: Financial Requirements for Brazilian Permanent Visa?:

Personally, I really don't get what the BIG fascination with Brazil is all about, anyway! The "romantic" utopia of expat living in Brazil vanished 40-years ago, together with the Bossa Nova generation. Brazil "2015" is "exorbatantly" expensive, crime ridden, with a generally "uptight, paranoid and out-right "unfriendly-on-the-street" population of Brazilian people. Eliminate all the expensive, bureaucratic (reciprocal) immigrational red-tape. Move to Miami Beach, instead, if you want to meet Brazilians, or Rio Cariocas, in particular. They're everywhere, and they're considerably more open and friendly in Miam-Dade, than those you'll meet in Brazil. Hope you learn your lessons well. Good luck.
