Saudi Arabia: American Woman Moving To Dammam???:

Granted..But Khobar is a bit different from Dammam...

Saudi Arabia: maids:

Where are you located?

Saudi Arabia: HouseMaid For Hire:

Ethiopian HouseMaid with lots of experience with Western Families...can cook, clean, take care of children, etc...SR2000 minimum for five day work week live in. If Day only, Taxi Fare should be added to base salary. Weekends are SR200 per day extra...Call Fatima at 0531858548 or respond to this post and she'll be contacted. Location preference is the Dhahran, Al Khobar Area, but will consider Riyadh

Saudi Arabia: Looking for a full-time maid in Riyadh:

I am replying on behalf of Fatima Monsur Kassim, an experienced Ethiopian HouseMaid. She has worked in Dhahran for ARAMCO Families, speaks a fair amount of English and can learn more easily. She cooks, cleans, etc..Her fee for fullltime, sleep in Saturday through Wednesday is SR 2000. Weekend work is at SR200 per day. You can contact me, or her at 0531858548. Or, call my mobile at 0561304032. She currently lives in Dammam but can make the move easily. Thank you. PS: E-mail me at JackDhahran@hotmail.com

Saudi Arabia: finding housing in Al Khobar:

I notice many new apartment buildings going up everywhere. I would like to know if there is a way to find housing through an agent.

Saudi Arabia: Saudi Aramco:

Can you tell me exactly what housing is available for "on camp" contractees? Is it Steineke Hall, Residences for transient housing or the small townhouses? Thanks

Saudi Arabia: Moving To Riyadh:

all the luck to you, but be ready to take on the daily role of second class citizen, being visually raped by just about any man who gets a glimpse of your hair, face, angkles...you'll be wearing an abaya when outside shopping, etc...my suggestion: look elsewhere. However, if you do decide give me an e-mail if you like...

Saudi Arabia: Living in Al-Khobar:

Whatever financial enticements you may have been offered really think several times before bringing your family to Saudi Arabia. Unless you could get a contract with ARAMCO I would suggest looking elsewhere. This place is a real "hell hole" a tinder box of human aggravation and lawlessness. The driving conditions here are lunatic. Women are considered to be akin to livestock and your children will have nothing real or tangible to draw from since they will be living a sheltered, by necessity, compound existence. Add to this the miserable heat, dust storms and wind which blankets this part of the world for 8 months out of the year. I have worked here on and since the early 80's and have seen this place get exponentially worse. I have gotten jaded over the years but would never say to anyone who has any other tangible choices to come here, especially with family.

Saudi Arabia: I need advice for living in Dhahran as a woman:

Instead of living there as a woman, you would be better off living there as a camel. In Saudi Arabia, a camel has, traditionally, been held at higher esteem. In fact, if cross-species fertilization were possible, women would be raised for food rather than the dromedary...

Saudi Arabia: Serious Info Needed Plz - Western Girl to wed Saudi Man, KSA Living:

Don't do it! If you feel you must make sure you have a notarized contract stating that you can come and go as you please in and out of Kingdom. Remember, to a Saudi Man you are property...
