India: IGCSE and IB Curriculum:

I want to know if there are folks that returned from US and have Children at 9th grade level? Which curriculum is better if a child has studied in US so far and coming to a 9th grade level? IS IGCSE better or IB Curriculum is better and what are the options of colleges. IF they want to get into Engineering or medical IN India which curriculum would be a better choice to prepare them. If they are planning to give SATs to go back to US universities, which curriculum helps them prepare for SAT? I would really appreciate feedback/comments ASAP

India: The American 110v standard:

Hi, I would like to know if anyone has carried American standard 11ov electronics to India. Things like Crockpots, Espresso Coffee machine, food processors, pancake griddles. If so do they work well with converters or are the NRI apartments equipped to handle electronics from US.n Also are there any diswashers available in India, and heavy duty washer dryers. Hi, We are planning to move to Pune from California, US. We need info on good international schools, how to pick one? My son is in 8th grade. By the time we move next year, he'll be in 9th grade. Also need info on housing. India: Considering relocating to Bombay from USA:

Hello Members, I am considering to relocate to Bombay. My main concern is my son who will be in 9th grade next year. Besides American school of Bombay, what are other good international schools. I would really like to know if there are people that have relocated recently and have kids that are 14 years and older--what should we be aware of in terms of getting kids adjusted that age- 14 years and older and my main concern is school. Hi, We are planning to relocate to Mumbai, India. My child is born and raised in USA. he is 13 years old, in 8th grade in a Public school system in california, USA. We are planning to relocate to Mumbai next year which means he will be in Ninth grade. American school of Bombay seems to be very expensive. What are our other choices of good schools in Mumbai and how do we pick a school. Is there a website that has details about schools etc..
