Panama: My favorite eating places in P.C.:

Tantalo in Casco Viejo SIETE MARES - El Congrejo And KFC delivery! Napoli's used to be good, service has gone down along with the food... Try Sorrento in San Francisco- better than Napoli's.

Panama: Condado del Rey:

The neighborhood of Condado del Rey is not planned well and the traffic is a nightmare.

Panama: Recommendation for a pensionado visa lawyer:

Moleman, I'm retired from the US and have lived in Panama since 2011. My wife is an immigration attorney here with clients from several countries including Italy. She is fluent in Spanish, English and Italian. Her rates are reasonable and her results are impressive. PM me for contact information. Best of luck to you and welcome to Panama. Scott

Panama: Czech citizen with record:

I've seen worse problems overcome through various methods. The main problem may be getting entry at the airport, since they'll scan your passport and I take it that's where your felony might be discovered. However, once inside, there are any number of creative ways to stay in Panama.

Panama: Panama Visa and legal issues:

Hi All, I am North American and my wife, Noris, is an attorney from Panama. We have lived in Panama City for 3 years. Our 10 year old daughter attends Balboa Academy over at Clayton. We shipped two cars, a household goods crate and here from the 3 dogs and a cat from the U.S. My wife is a real pro in navigating the Panama legal system. If you are moving to Panama we can help you with your legal needs. We both speak English and Spanish (Noris also speaks Italian as we lived in Italy while I was in the U.S. Air Force. Send me an email at phchief @ gmail . com or call me at my skype number 1-347-379-1962. You can also call Noris at her Panama office number (507) 68686755. We will give you a no hold barred, honest appraisal of what you'll need regarding visas, car tags, drivers license, bank account, real estate transactions etc. if we don't know the answer, we have many sources and connection in Panama who will find the answer. Give us a call for a no cost consultation. If you are in the city we will be glad to meet with you. Scott James and Noris Reyes-James

Panama: Advice where to buy tile, granite etc for reasonable price:

The granite place off of the highway just past Chame on the right side heading towards Coronado. Brazilian granite...nice stuff. Just bought 2 slabs for $2500.

Panama: Hola Parita y Los Santos:

Hi Michelle, Pack light, not much rain in March, but the mountains can get cool at night. Bring Avon's "skin so soft" to protect against insects. It works like an oil barrier to your skin and is quite effective. We have a house in Cocle up in the mountains near Rio Hato, not sure if you are going to be by us. The buses run out of Albrook. Its a little confusing, but if you go to the window that has your destination posted, they will try to help you out. A good Spanish langauge website course is called Spanish-Is-Easy.com I recommend it! Take care and let us know if we can help you. Scotty

Panama: Berlitz school:

Berlitz is a language school with a branch in Panama. I need to take a course for business...is that the best school? If not, where? Thanks, Scotty

Panama: Mail from the US:

Bring the medicie with you. The customs fee for mail is cost prohibitive. Scotty

Panama: Looking to Learn from Ex Pats in Panama City:

Hi Bubbleator, We live here for work and spend off time in the interior. I don't think you would choose to live in the city unless you have to -- my opinion. The interor is far better. Altos del Maria, Coronado, etc... Best to you. Scotty
