Panama: Life in the San Carlos area:
Can anyone tell me what it is like in the San Carlos area, i.e. reliability of electric and water services, cost of living, vitality of the economy, crime, public transportation, etc?
Panama: Panama Pacifico Academy:
What is the cost of tuition? My son is a rising senior, and is considering coming with me.
Panama: Seeking Expat Business Partner:
I am contemplating a move to Panama, and am seeking American expats with an existing business, or that would like to create a new one in which I would like to participate. I am an experienced land development / construction management professional (Clemson University '93), with business skills, motivation and integrity applicable to any number of business ventures. I suppose I am in essence looking for someone already established in Panama to unofficially "sponsor" me as I get established there. I have limited equity to contribute, but rather propose to contribute intellectual capital and hands-on operational participation to create a business entity that fills a need that only an established expat might recognize. Recommendations, thoughts or inquiries are welcome.
Panama: Would like to connect with American expats:
I am considering a move to Panama, and wonder if there are are opportunities to provide services in exchange for room & board to other expats willing to help a fellow American get established. 50 y.o. professional, honest, christian, with no alterior motives.
Argentina: caracao:
How can I connect with US expats living in Caracao? I am a 50 yo US citiizen considering relocatring there, but wonder if this is feasible. Too young to tap retirement reserves, so connecting with an American expat that might consider hiring may be an option. I am a degreed construction / land development professional, want to get away from the ray race, and am exploring the caribbean lifestyle.....ready for a change, but recognize the need to connect with a "sponsor" with mutual benfits.
Panama: Potential expat looking to connect with other US expats:
Is it possible to meet US expats running business in Panama that would entertain hiring a fellow expat to assist with their business? I'm a 50 y.o. construction / land developmenmt professional in bad need of a change, and have targeted Panama......
Panama: Relocate & find work at a living wage?:
I am 50 y.o. and considering moving to Panama as an expat. Too far from retirement to tap those reserves, so is it possible to relocate there, keep US citizenship, and make a living wage? (do nort speak Spanish, Construction Management degree / land development professional)?
Costa Rica: The TRUTH about how Foreigners are treated here in Costa Rica!:
Dear Cruz: I, too, am a constructoion land development professional. Do you know of any professional opportunities for a 50 y.o. in our field? I do nor speak Spanish, but need a change of pace, and am ready to learn. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
Argentina: Considering a possible move to Argentina...:
Does anyone have insight as to the potential for employment in Agentina in the field of real estate development? I am a US degreed r/e professional, skilled in planning and infrastructure, and am considering the possibilities.
Mexico: Employment Opportunities:
Does anyone know if it is realistic to think that there are places in coastal Mexico where an experienced land development professional might find opportunity?
