Dear Janet: I am moving to Vietnam this coming June for a job opportunity. I have been doing lots of research on the same subjects, and I found it extremely difficult to have accurate answers. My advice is that you should find contact in NhaTrang, either a native or an expat, who has real knowledge of the area. Besides, you may want to postpone most major decisions until you actually reside there. hope that helps :)

Vietnam: Looking for employment opportunity:

Hi My name is Phoenix, just graduated last June in International Business and Asian Studies. I am looking for job opportunities in Vietnam but found it so difficult. I don't require high salary, just enough to cover for the student loan payment and living stipends. I can speak fluently English and Vietnamese and can communicate at intermediate level in Mandarin Chinese. My international experience is one year of Study Abroad in Taiwan. I have broad range of working experiences if various industries such as electronics, media, banking, non-profit organization. I have great passion to work in Asia where I can apply my learned academic knowledge to my daily life. Please give me some help in where I can look for job, how I can contact HR, what I should do to make myself marketable to multinational corporation in Vietnam. I deeply appreciate your help.
