Vietnam: What is required to marry Saigon girl and move to Saigon....from U.S.:

I have a Viet GF, and am thinking about moving to Saigon, marrying her in Vietnam, and moving from the US to Vietnam. What do I need to do....paperwork, visas, etc., etc. I have a good job...I can live anywhere I want and will be travelling usually at least once a month out of Vietnam for my work. PS-I have never visited Vietnam...met my GF elsewhere

Sri Lanka: Moving to Sri Lanka.Wife from Africa:

Hi! I am American. I may be moving to Sri Lanka with an African wife (Kenya). Are there very many Africans living in Sri Lanka? Would there be problems for her that I need to be aware of? I already have a job, but she would be looking for a job in Sri Lanka. Any information/suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Vietnam: Find a wife before moving.:

This is THE FIRST time I have heard about this. I have heard about foreign women wanting a guy with money, but never a Western Guy using money to lure a wife. Most of the Western Guys I read about are worried that all the foreign women want is their wallet, so they say they have no money when looking for a foreign wife...that I have seen a LOT!!!

Kenya: Considering a Move to Kenya:

Hi! If you are trying to get a work permit, it is about impossible. If you are with a company that wants you, you won't need a work permit and/or they will get you one easily. PATIENCE and FLEXIBILITY. If you don't have those and/or can't develop them fast, it will be a NIGHTMARE here. Overall, I like it, but I am like Gumby, and even so, it is often hard. Took me 3 weeks to open a bank account. Mombasa is VERY Muslim, and pretty small. It was fun to visit. cliff NBO
