United Arab Emirates: Irish man thinking of move to abu!:

hi, i am considering a move to abu dhabi with my girlfriend in march. We have begun the job hunt, what i want to know is what are my prospects of getting hotel work, hopefully managerial, without arabic. I have over 4 years hotel experience, and now 2 years hospitality i.t. analystic experience. Would there be any problems me and my girlfriend living together, unmarried? Does all employers provide accomadation? also i have heard some take your passport, is this true? thanks to all for response, might buy ya a pint at some stage in the future.. k

Oman: Should I move to muscat?:

Hi Guys, I am an Irish guy, mid twenties, looking for something different. My question is should I move to muscat, I have over 4 years hotel experience upto management, and 2 years hotel I.T. analystic experience. I don't have a word of arabic. what are my prospects in regard to getting a job, there is something about muscat that has me enthralled. I am considering a move in march 2010, to either oman or UAE. all responses are welcomed warmly. cheers k
