Uruguay: air fare:

It has been my experience that nothing is cheaper than from the US. I Just flew from Bangkok thailand, to Barcelone, Spain, with 3 day layover there, then on to Montevideo, Uruguay, ONE WAY, and the fare was US$1,700.00 I think the Jet Set age may be over except for the very rich..... Gary

Uruguay: having a baby in Uruguay:

I have ask several Uruguayans about this, as well as much reading, and the answer is yes. And just as in the USA, you then have an "anchor baby", meaning you are related to an Uruguayan citizen, so you can apply for citizenship on that basis. Of course, you might check with a local lawyer to confirm this. Good luck......... Gary
