China: Macau work visa issue:
I am a US citizen and am planning to move to Macau in a few months to be with my fiancee (a Philippines citizen) who will be working there soon. I already have a job but my employer is based in the US and is allowing me to work remotely from Macau temporarily. I plan to stay in Macau for 1 year. Can I get a work visa even though my employer is based in US? What other options do I have?
BTW. why no Macau forum?
China: Moving fron US to Hong Kong:
There is a Hong Kong forum which might be better for your question..

BTW, I was just in HK about 2 months ago visiting friends. It is very diverse and crowded and busy and fun and expensive.. I am sure you will find suitable situation. Good luck!
Philippines: moving to the phillipines please help:
Cebu is my favorite big city in the PI but if you have never been in the Philippines it is hard to say if you wil llike it or not. You need to spend some time there to see how you will adjust.
My favorite area in Cebu is Ayala. By PI standards it is modern, clean and safe. There are also quite a few westerners living there. Check it out.
I may be moving there at some point too. I am engaged to a Filipina from Cebu. Good luck!
Philippines: Are there any US/European communities in the Philippines?:
I am getting married to a Filipina next year and thinking about moving there but I would like to live in an area that has a few other foreigners around to hang out with. Any recommendations? Thanks.
Philippines: Moving to the Philippines:
Hi tiannaidan,
I am likely to go through similar process as you next year. I am now engaged to a nice lady from Cebu and we plan to get married next year. Not yet sure in the PI or US.
I would like to know how your process went. Any problems or unexpected issues arise?
