Nicaragua: Visiting Nicaragua this month:
We're coming from the states to visit family for the first time this month in Nicaragua looking for advice on hotels, food, avoiding mosquitos, etc. anything will help. Thanks!
Spain: Am I dreaming?:
As a fellow dreamer, I don't think you've missed the boat. As a matter of fact, the current crisis has opened amazing opportunities to buy property in Spain's beautiful resort towns. I live part of the year in Nuevo Portil which is a pueblo on the Atlantic near the city of Huelva. What you have to consider is most beach resort towns go completely dormant in the winter and it can get pretty lonely. What I would suggest is use Renfe, the spanish train system, to identify small towns between major cities along the coast and start visiting them. Valencia is on the Mediterranean and I'm sure there are pueblos just outside the city where you can have peace but close enough to get reconnected when winter comes. good luck
