United Kingdom: Establishing credit before we move from the US to London:

Hello, Sorry I can't help much with the establishing credit issue. We mainly used our debit cards everywhere when we lived there. Our children went to ACS Hillingdon. Many families live in or near Gerrards Cross, so it helps for socializing to live in that area. It's a lovely town. Good luck!

United Kingdom: Looking for Appliances / Electronics in London:

I found the best prices for a lot of the small appliances I purchased when I moved here on amazon.co.uk...not to mention the fact that they were delivered to my door! Delivery is very quick when you live in London.

United Kingdom: video game console adapter?:

We brought our US Wii console to the UK, and purchased an adaptor with a UK plug. I found it easily online, and it was not very expensive. I imagine you could do the same for your son's consoles. To charge our DS, we use the US charger with a transformer, which is fine for the short duration it is charging. Good Luck!
