Forget shipping everything...it is way too expensive, and you will get charged VAT (a tax) for receiving your own things! I had to pay the equivalant of $60 to retrieve my own cds, shoes and a few knick-knacks that had cost me approx. $50 to send in the first place!! Our appliances in the US are not compatible with the electric here, so sell that. I just moved to Scotland from Michigan, last June. You can email me @ ciareyb@yahoo.com.

Hi Rebecca! I recently moved right outside of Edinburgh from the US. Living in Edinburgh is VERY expensive compared to living in the outlying areas, but Edinburgh is a great city!! Anything I can do to help, just let me know:)
