hey there, im a from New Zealand and currently trying to do exactly the same thing as you except my boyfriend is swiss.ive been looking on all sorts of sites but for IT there are lots of companies in Geneva that are US companies and the company language is english.try IBM,or any large software companies as they all seem to have offices in Geneva.I unfortunately will be in Zurich and have had trouble finding anything on the net.i have read that you can go in on a tourist visa and stay but are not allowed to apply for a work visa while in switzerland,apparently though there are ways of getting around it, theres a great book called living and working in switzerland that is also quite useful.i personally am going to go over and take my chances as its a long way to go for a job interview from here and you can get around the visa rules by leaving and re entering over the neighbor boarders and the passport control never pay any attention to my passport when ive been in and out and over the last year thats been at least once every 2 weeks when i was living in London.let me know how you get on.hope that helps and i sympathise with your frustrations.
