Kenya: Working in Kenya:

I have been offered a one year position in Nairobi and me and my husband will be relocating there this spring. I heard that it is difficult for spouses to get work permit there. My husband is a Scandinavian chef who has worked internationally previously and has great knowledge of scandinavian and italian/french/spanish cuisine. Does anyone know if it would be possible for him to get a work permit or find a job in Nairobi? I'm told that I as a Swedish citizen should pay tax in Kenya instead of Sweden and I wonder if anyone know the tax percentage in Kenya or how to find such information! Regards J.
