Italy: Babysitting:
Hi everyone, I will be in Florence (city) from 15 July for 3 months with my family (husband and 2 children). I want to make a little bit of pocket money while we are there by babysitting.
Does anyone know what the normal rate is for babysitting in Italy (for an adult) I get $25AUD in australia. But not necessarily expecting this much in italy.
If anyone wants baby sitting in Florence please leave me a message here.
thank you.
Italy: houses for rent in and around Chieti:
hi, try casa.it for realestate rentals.
but i actually went onto www.homelidays.co.uk looked at holiday rentals in the area that i wanted and checked to see if they were available for the time we wanted and sent generic emails with all our needs on it to about 30 owners. Quite a few got back to me telling me they prefer long term renters and for the price of one week holiday rental they have let us have it for a month (over 3 months). hope this make sense to you. contact me for more info.
Italy: Moving to Italy, lots of questions!:
Hi Meghan,
My husband and i and our 2 children will be moving to Florence in July. I have a TEFL certificate and will be looking for teaching work there too. Most of the people I talk to there say that you dont really need the TEFL cert to do the work, because you have english as you mother tongue. I did it just to be on the safe side, although I have not had any experience in Australia using it. So I will be posting notices around town to give private english lessons. Maybe we will meet eachother over there.
Maleena...Good LUck.
