My son, a citizen of the USA, has been looking worldwide for a surgeon willing to consider taking on his case for a colostomy reversal and came across Dr. Jose Echeverria, whom I assume is located in Lima. Is anyone familiar with this surgeon or know of someone who has had any experience with him? Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Ila...you are so amusing. Coffee expert??? Makes me proud to have that kind of a label and I'm not even there yet...lol. I am divesting myself of all my US assets as fast as I can, so I can be free from the burden of it all. Still need to sell my Louisiana home. Actually, I have a purchase agreement on it, but is contingent on the buyer selling his place. I retired in August. My wife retires in December.

Thanks to all for your input. I agree that APMEX is one of the best places to buy gold in the USA. Chris Weber recommends it and two other firms, but from my experience they are all three very much in line with each other, relative to the fees charged over spot.

As an observer of how things are moving in the USA political arena it does not surprise me at all. I have a suspicion that this whole thing could have been planned by the USA from the onset. I know you hate such speculation, Hector, but I truly wish I had divested myself of all USA assets when you did. I feel my dream of getting to Ecuador is fading very quickly. As a soon to be government retiree, I am feeling more trapped than ever and must say I was warned of these very tactics, but cannot reveal my source. It just seems that the plans to keep the American's money in the USA is moving along faster than anyone could imagine. Things are changing fast.
