Nepal: Kathmandu in Oct Woo Hoo:
Hi,
its good that you are coming to Nepal. I think the best way to get your belongings is get get through sea cargo. If you have a business visa and willing to do something, it is better to decide after you come to Nepal and having seen around. As fact of getting motorbikes, there are plenty Indian motorcycles available.
enjoy your stay.
and all the best,
rajendra
Nepal: Moving to Nepal:
Markus,
I don't know if I have written to you earlier, whenever foreigners say that they love Nepal as a Nepali I feel good about. Visa is not a problem for you as you get it on arrival and you must be aware of as you have visited earlier. In regard of extending, the organisation you are hooked with can do something with immigration office, if not you can still stay on tourist status for 150 calender days in a year, however it can be arranged !!!
In regards of job, if you are serious about coming to the country and staying here for sometimes... please don't hesitate to contact me.. I will give you information as I can.. thank you and have a good times
best regards from Kathmandu
Nepal: International schools OUTSIDE central KTM?:
Ora,
Sorry to hear about your son. I'm Nepali and I smell from your message that you really don't appreciate the Nepalese system. Better schools are available in the better cities.. that is everywhere, I think same goes to the country you from. I think, you have to chose between living whole family together or education for your kid in the better school.
I hope you will start loving our country when you are accustomed with everything we've in here... cheers
Nepal: Considering to move:
hello Monni,
Its good to know that you've chosen my country to move for awhile. Its beautiful country to live and we have four different seasons. Living standard here is not that high still Kathmandu is bit expensive than other part of the cities. Other than teaching English, you can also work as a volunteer for NGOs, work in restaurant or bars, in the hotel management colleges as tourist is major foreign currency generating industry in Nepal. I can assist you for things that you would chose and feel free to contact me at rajendra.upreti@gate.edu.np (only if you feel comfortable)
thank you and have a nice time.
Nepal: Considering to move:
Grandpayeti, why the heck are you giving wrong information to the people. There is no country in the world where problem doesn't occurred, intimidation, torture, extortion are prevailed many countries more than in Nepal.. still the place is not that horrific as you have explained because I am Nepali and I live here.
