Mexico: just a few questions?:

Hello :) My family (of four) are moving to Puerto Escondido this July, due to my husbands relocation of work. 1- When do you suggest we go to the Consulate to apply for our fm3 visas? Does it take a while for them to go through? 2- I need to go back to the USA every four months to get my perscription medicines for RA. ( 5 of them) How much can I bring back to Mexico on the plane? There will be four months of pre-filled syringes and bottles as well. All in original containers as prescribed. 3- My husband is driving to Mexico. He was wondering how much band equipment he can bring in his car? (Guitars and amplifiers). Thank you so much!
