I work in advertising as an artist and I'm based here in Dubai. Just recently I got a job offer for Muscat, Oman in another advertising firm. The salary is OR1800 which includes housing and transporation allowances. I have read and heard a lot about the quiet life and slow pace in Oman. I was also told that there are so few expats there as there are locals being the majority. What do expats do there to unwind after work and during the weekend? Any comment, suggestion or a holler about my hesitation or curiosity would be most appreciated.
