Saudi Arabia: cost of contact lenses in Jeddah:

Hi. I'm living in Jeddah and was wondering if anyone knows the typical cost of buying a pair of contact lenses in this city (for the sake of comparison). I currently only have eyeglasses and an eyeglass prescription, but have been told that I can use my glasses prescription to get contacts. Does anyone have any experience with this? My health insurance doesn't cover vision so I'd be paying out of pocket if I bought them in this country.
