I really don't recommend taking them. Sell them on EBay and get replacements. I brought my 240V UK power tools with me to Mexico and though I can run them off a transformer, believe me, carrying a 500 watt transformer to where I need to use the tool gets old pretty quickly.

You will need to do some research. If housing is not included then be aware that rental costs are extremely high and living outside a compound can expose you to serious risk.

Don't do it. The place is an open prison. I worked there for a year and regard it as equivalent to have being in jail all that time. Saudis are cruel, dirty, and vindictive.
