Luxembourg: Schools:

Most Americans choose ISL but both schools are 1 year behind the average Europaen School. If you come from a Private School you will be extremley disappointed by the International Schools in Luxembourg, .

Luxembourg: hello - new member:

We moved from the UK last year with 2 dogs and 2 cats. You have no problems to import the animals into Lux but you need a passport to bring him back to the UK. If your kids come from a public school or a good States School you will be very disappointed in the Luxembourg School system. They are basically one year behind St. George and ISL. In my opinion St. George is better Primary School. Isl for High School or there is a very good local school who offer the IB program. Lots of people ike the European School. Luxembourg is in need of a private school and lots of parents sent them to boarding school . People are very friendly and you will make friends in no time. Depending from where you come rents are either cheap or expensive for you. WE come from London ! Landlords are however a pain in Lux and the law is favouring the landlord.
