Ecuador: PENNY AUCTION INCOME FOR FUN:

I know as a expat sometimes you would like to stay at home and play penny auctions. Also, there is some very lucrative residual income opportunities in it as well. If you would like to play free, I am giving away 500 Free Bids to play. If you like it or dont like it let me know. I am looking to see how many people might be interested in this. http://healthnut10.zeekler.com

Mexico: MERIDA MEXICO HELP NEEDED!!!:

Spanish and English speaking couple looking to possibly relocate to Merida. We will be visiting late May with a possible move as soon as late June or early July. QUESTIONS: 1. Good schools for a bilingual student, whats recommended? 2. Any good housing for $600 a month? Something quiet preferred. 3. We dont want to bring much but what should we bring if we move? I hear it gets VERY hot. 4. Any recommendations would be appreciated.

Michael, Do you a member of International Living? You can email me at Healthnut10@yahoo.com as well. Thanks, Dale

Mexico: Safety:

Cupcake45...... I have considered moving to Mexico as well. I have done some extensive research and found that Merida, Mexico is apparently a safe place to consider. I will be visiting late may. One caution though....if your looking to rent, I have experienced they charge foreigners more than locals. If you are with someone that speaks spanish that would be a plus in case your not familiar with spanish. Hope this helps.

Ecuador: 1.Visti 2.Invest 3. Live Part Time 4. Maybe live Full Time:

I plan on visiting Ecuador for at least a month but currently looking for some assistance. I am open to investing, using as part time use or full time later on. I like beaches, I like mountains and lakes as well. I am torn where I would want to live but understand for investment the beach might be the best place. I hear that talking to locals may be my best bet. Where is a good source to start? If I rent for a month should I get a rental car or rely on transportation everywhere I go to include the airports? Are mesquitos, scorpoins, or snakes a problem in Ecuador? People say its hot on the coast. How hot? Are there markets for fresh fruit all over (beach, cuenca and so forth) and do you pay more depending where you are? Is organic chicken and beef hard to find? I know this is a lot to take in but hopefully someone can assist. xxx Also, I just retired from the Army and currently 39. I have guaranteed income and would like to pick un an import/export business or something to keep me busy if I retire for good there. Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks, Dale

Global Expat Forum: PLEASE HELP: From the US, to where should I move for better economic prospects?:

21 and looking outside the US? Kudos to you!!! I just retired from the military and just turned 39. There is a lot to consider when moving outside the US. xxx Some countries live a more simple life, some you wont be able to find a job unless you want to make less, some have much lower property taxes ($200) a year. Some countries have a much better streamlined health care system as well. I recommend you save as much as you can, talk to other expats that have the same likings similiar to yours. I am new at this as well but currently looking at 5 places in South America where I have an interest and will be traveling to visit those locations. xxx Also, some people like the International Living website. I use it as a source but not my only source. They have been in business for 30 years so that is a positive for them. LinkTV.org is a great place for information as well. They have a TV station too. They tell the truth and dont hide any information. Most of the news in the US is not willing to tell the truth. Check out for yourself and I bet you will agree. Contact me if you would like any information and websites for living outside the US.
