Costa Rica: Drugs:
I am 59 years old have been in Tamarindo six hours and have been asked to purchase drugs or been asked to purchase drugs approximately 20 different occasions all in a friendly manner on the beach or in the street my girlfriend is asking is it legal and I say no but there are no police and very little violence I know of so I guess no one really cares is that true ?
Costa Rica: Beach vs medical care in central valley:
there is hospital one in Liberia about 45 minutes to many beachtowns and depending on what beach your at 4 hrs to 1 and a half from san jose
Costa Rica: Vehicle from USA to Costa Rica:
i was told by locals approx70%of value if its 2002 or newer and if its a gas guzzler youll regret it.their gas stations are expensive and rare by our standards.and if you buy one there it will have seen many bumpy roads..you will also be putting a bullseye on yourself if your riding around in a big new expensive suv . is what i meant to say.sorry but hope it helps. and i m sorry to sound extreme i just worded it wrong, I feel much safer there than new orleans its a great place just try not to be to showy
