China: Moving to Beijing in Summer 02:

Hi There! We will be moving to Beijing in Summer and would like to know more about the housing areas for expats. Heard a lot about Beijing Riviera - is it good? What size are the gardens....we have 2 labradors that will move with us, so it's important for us to get a reasonable size plot of land. For dog owners: are there are any nice places to walk the dogs and where they can walk/run/play off the leash? Dog food: we feed our dogs with Hills or Eukaneuba - is that available in Beijing? Otherwise, what other "western" dog foods are available? House rentals: Are they furnished? If so, what's the condition - any horror stories?? We don't know whether to bring furniture with us, or put it into storage. Probably a million and one other questions, but will be back again later! Thanks to anyone for any information!
