Portugal: Importing a car from the USA:

Acutually the transport cost from Dallas, TX to Lisbon, Portugal was not that bad. Shipment up to the port of Setubal, Portugal was quoted at $ 1450.00 – ex our terminal in Grand Prairie TX. There would be destination European port handling charges applicable in Setubal, which are approximately $150.00. Please note that the above rate does not include marine insurance, customs duty or sales taxes if applicable. It's the actual import side and "troubles" that I'm concerned about.
